We dreamed up our Zion canyoneering and Rock Climbing company Rock Odysseys in 2014 with the hope of staying in and raising our little family in the most beautiful place on earth.

 

Heidi was raised right outside of Zion in Springdale by parents who owned and operated Saga Tours and worked for The Zion National Park Service. And Zach was an accomplished Zion rock climber and professional guide.

 

After marriage and kids, it seemed a natural choice to start our own adventure guiding company. Watching our children--their innate curiosity for the natural world and their love of climbing--has largely shaped our professional journey, and our company has rightfully evolved into a family and kids' oriented business. But our wish is that it is also one of inclusion, with a mission to see that everyone, regardless of circumstances or experience levels, has an opportunity to experience a bit of the spectacular on their holiday to Zion.
